My new record is finished and ready for download from myspace!

Producer/ aritist Clay Cook engineered, mixed, and performed on what he calls “a dark Joni Mitchell album”. Special guests who added their talented voices to the album include: Adrianne, Nate Borofsky (of Girlyman), Vanessa Olivarez, Nicholas Niespodziani and Mark Cobb (of Y.O.U.), and Shawn Mullins.

I am happy to be back in the south. As I'm gearing up to perform again, please keep an eye on my Myspace page for new song postings and news on the recording of the new record.

Months into my sabbatical in the rainy state of Washington, I have written a bundle of songs that are charming me back into the studio, including one retrospective on my southland home title "Carolinas". Everything I am writing up here is coming out crude and country. Funny how it takes a move to the Pacific Northwest to get me to write a folk record.

I'm on tour for the month of September. It's not the most ideal time for trecking across the country with gas prices and the threat of code orangey fusia, but we (tour manager Anna Love, Roo, and I) are ready to roll. We are Westerly bound, and anxious to see how the rest of the United States handles the art of independent music these days. Keep an eye on the journal page for updates on the journey and more!
